HONOR Fight League #8  

On November 14th 2026, Curaçao will witness another thrilling Kickboxing & MMA event as HONOR Fight League #8 takes over the World Trade Center once again. This is a night full of adrenaline and fun (DJ/drinks/food) while being entertained by some of the biggest names in combat sports live on Curaçaoan soil. 

Worldclass Heavyweight Showdown | Curacao vs Brazil
In what promises to be a historic main event, Curaçao is set to witness a world-class heavyweight showdown between Jeremy ‘Tula’ Mercera (Curaçao), widely viewed as one of the biggest heavyweight prospects in the world, and Wesley Cotta (Brazil), the #1-ranked heavyweight fighter in Brazil for the past three years. Both fighters have been undefeated for years and will now clash to determine who will emerge as the next heavyweight star in kickboxing. We are honored and privileged to deliver such a high-level match-up to the island. Knockout guaranteed! 

Light Heavyweight Clash | Curacao vs Brazil
In another Curaçao vs. Brazil match-up, local favorite John Granville (Curaçao), widely considered the best fighter in his weight class (95 kg) in the region, takes on undefeated David ‘Juggernaut’ Lopes (Brazil), who boasts a perfect professional record of 11 fights and 11 wins. Granville is counting on the Blue Wave to carry him to victory in what may be the toughest test of his career so far, while the ‘Juggernaut’ is looking to create headlines abroad and continue his undefeated streak. This match-up will certainly electrify the audience! 

Homecoming Spectacle
True to HFL’s mission, we bring home yet another ‘Yu di Korsou’ professional fighter from abroad, as Averon Gleijsteen makes his HONOR Fight League debut against Sorosh Alai (Afghanistan) who is back and hungry for more after a victory at HFL7 in April. This promises to be a high-paced and action-packed showdown, as both fighters look to impress and add another victory to their resume.  Who do you got? 

Curaçao vs The World
• Curaçao’s own Keanu Irausquin takes on Jeffry Gil (Colombia) in a professional MMA fight that promises pure action. Both men are known for fast finishes, so do not blink! • Curaçao’s talented Joey Gogulski takes on Amir Dahouti (Morocco), a young kickboxing phenom based in the Netherlands. This fight is set to create a lot of noise at HFL8!
• Curaçao’s fastest rising star Niurick Leoncio is set to feature again at HFL. The future is bright for this young man and he is ready to write another chapter on his way to the top!
